About Fireworks
Fireworks are a type of explosive used for festival display purposes that may be for religious reasons or celebrations. They are colourful and noisy. A fireworks display is also known as pyrotechnics.
The earliest known fireworks were invented in China and used an early form of gun powder which Western cultures then copied and invented guns and canons.
Because fireworks are exploding devices they can be dangerous and proper safety precautions must be used around them.
