Some Facts
About Space
Outer space is vast and includes all that exists, known and unknown, outside of the earth's atmosphere. It is mostly a vacuum and is very cold but also contains pockets of matter we call galaxies which are made up of billions of stars.
It is calculated that there are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all the beaches in all the world, and many of those stars will have planets.
If you wanted to study space you could become an astronaut, astronomer, astro-physicist or mathematician.
